- Pop-up records
- Data that combines pop-up information platforms, brands' and venues' official social accounts and websites, press releases, articles and magazines, merging each pop-up into one record. Personal blogs are not included. Counted by start date.
- Last 12 months
- The 365 days up to the collection date. Not real time. Data is collected once a week.
- Typical run
- The median run length (days counted including both the start and end dates). “Half ran n–m days” is the range covering the middle half. Only records with an end date and 90 days or shorter are counted. Not calculated with fewer than 20 records.
- Running
- Pop-ups whose start and end dates spanned the collection date. Records without an end date and long-running records (open more than 90 days) are counted separately.
- Running at once
- The average number of pop-ups open on each day of the month. Records without an end date and long-running records are excluded, so the real number may be higher.
- District
- Divided by the boundaries of Seongsu's 10 living districts. Records outside the boundaries are not counted in district figures.
- Estimated sales
- Card-payment-based estimates from the Seoul Commercial District Analysis Service. Not actual sales. They are sales of permanent stores, so they do not indicate pop-up performance. Districts that span several Seoul commercial areas are summed by store share (districts not split are marked “not split” in the table).
- Avg. people per hour on weekends
- From Seoul living population (Korean residents): the average number of people in the district per hour on weekends. Not a daily visitor count.
